E-Series

HNC offers E-Series™ wheelchair lifts, which stand out for their reliable performance in in-vehicle accessibility solutions. The E-Series™ is preferred for its easy installation, practical use, and low maintenance. Meeting high standards for compatibility, safety, and stability, this series provides users with a wide range of options, including three different platform types: Folding, Split, and Solid.

HNC's E-Series™ lifts are designed to be compatible with many passenger transport vehicles and transporters, including smaller models. Thanks to their long lifting arms, the platform can open wide, and the lift can be easily integrated into different vehicle types and various mounting points.

For rear mounts, the platform can seamlessly bypass equipment such as tow bars or tow hitches. For side mounts, the step protrusion found in many vehicle models can be easily cleared.HNC offers E-Series™ lifts with a universal mounting kit. This kit includes all necessary components and detailed installation instructions, allowing for quick, effective, and effortless installation.

Maya Mobility

HNC's E-Series™ lifts are manufactured with a patented, specially designed closed-box form located in the lower section of both parallel lifting arms. This rigid design ensures superior stability and comfort, even if the load on the platform is not evenly distributed.

Maya Mobility

Thanks to their rigid structure, HNC E-Series™ lifts minimize vibration and unwanted movements during use. This provides users with a safer, more comfortable, and more stable experience. Furthermore, the stability offered by the lift during operation is a significant advantage, especially for users concerned about the ground moving while the platform is rising.

The yellow grab handles used in HNC's E-Series™ lifts offer a firm gripping surface for wheelchair users, caregivers, passengers standing on the platform, or attendants, thanks to their high visibility. These grab handles, which provide support and comfort, have undergone quality tests in accordance with EN 1756-2 standards. This European standard defines the safety and design requirements for rear lifts mounted on passenger vehicles. The length of the grab handles is specifically adapted to the height of the lift in its folded position. This allows HNC's E-Series™ lifts to be easily installed even in vehicles with lower roof heights.

Maya Mobility

The low threshold structure used in HNC's E-Series™ lifts allows access to the platform and entry/exit from the vehicle without the need for additional assistance. It provides great convenience, especially when the lift is used from inside the vehicle. The lift's base is manufactured with the lowest possible platform profile, ensuring maximum headroom inside the vehicle.Even when a mobility device passes over it, the threshold remains very close to the ground. HNC developed this design, particularly for Split type lifts, to ensure the safe use of the vehicle's rear door as an emergency exit. This minimizes the risk of tripping, stumbling, or obstruction.

HNC – Three Platform Options for Different Vehicle and Usage Needs

HNC offers three different platform designs—Folding, Split, and Solid—to meet the varying needs of disabled users and their vehicles. Each has proven its reliability over many years and offers distinct advantages. Users can achieve maximum compatibility by choosing the platform best suited to their individual needs and vehicle types.HNC's platforms offer flexible mounting options. They are designed to be easily installed on the side of vehicles with sliding doors or behind the rear doors of passenger cars.

HNC Folding Platform – Foldable Wheelchair Lift Solution

Foldable design allows the platform to retract horizontally when the lift is stowed.
• Offers high compatibility with low-roof vehicles.
• Provides extra platform space for longer mobility devices such as scooters and electric wheelchairs.
• When folded, the platform is positioned below the rear window, ensuring the driver's rear view is not obstructed.

HNC Split Platform – Divisible Wheelchair Lift Solution

• The platform structure splits into two, folding and stowing to the left and right sides inside the vehicle.
• The vehicle's rear entry area remains accessible, which is particularly advantageous in emergency evacuation situations.
• The very low threshold between the vehicle floor and the lift facilitates loading and reduces the risk of tripping during entry and exit.
• Thanks to its low threshold design, it may allow the rear door of the vehicle to be used as an emergency exit (depending on local regulations).

HNC Solid Platform – Single-Piece Wheelchair Lift Solution

• Thanks to its compact body structure, it offers shallow depth and leaves more space for seats inside the vehicle.
• The single-piece design with fewer moving parts provides a more durable and stable structure compared to other platform types.
• Offers easy installation, requiring fewer adjustments during the vehicle adaptation process.

HNC – Non-Slip Platform Surface

• The platform's durable metal body structure provides a non-slip surface grip.
• The high-precision surface effectively prevents shoes and wheels from slipping.
• Thanks to the robust mesh structure on the platform, dirt, snow, and mud fall to the ground without entering the vehicle.

HNC – Safe and Comfortable Loading

• HNC's dual parallel arm lifts are known for their safe and smooth operating performance.
• Even if hydraulic pressure drops when the platform is under maximum load, the lift performs a controlled and slow descent.
• The lift's hydraulic pump system is capable of maintaining high pressure for weeks.
• Maintaining a high-pressure level also prevents vibrations and metallic impact noises.

• One of the important safety features is the outer roll-stop mechanism, which prevents the wheelchair from falling off the platform.
• Thanks to its single-piece design, it operates safely even on uneven ground.
• As soon as the E-Series™ platform rises from the ground, the mechanical roll-stop automatically engages.

• When the lift returns inside the vehicle, the inboard barrier, which acts as a roll-stop, keeps the wheelchair in a safe position during the lifting process.
• When the lift reaches the same horizontal level as the vehicle floor, the barrier flattens and transforms into a small transition bridge for the user.
• This allows the wheelchair user to comfortably move into the vehicle, and the lift is ready to be folded.

HNC – Mechanical Safety Hooks

• In the event of a slow drop in hydraulic pressure, safety hooks located on both sides of the lift arms prevent the platform from falling towards the vehicle doors.
• The platform is stopped by mechanical hooks and held in a safe position before reaching the doors.

HNC – Smart and Durable Steel Construction

• E-Series™ lifts are manufactured using the high-quality steel material that HNC uses across its entire product range.
• Although steel is heavier than aluminum, it offers less flex, higher strength and rigidity, and superior resistance to wear and cracking.

• In comparison, an aluminum lift typically requires additional reinforcement parts to be rigid, which increases its total weight.
• Although aluminum is a lighter material, thanks to the intelligent engineering design of E-Series™ lifts, their total weight is similar to most aluminum lifts on the market.
