HNC Mechanical Hand Throttle and Brake System
This device combines manual forward push control of the brake pedal with mechanical accelerator control by rotating the upper part of the control lever around its own axis. The system operates via a transmission mechanism with a telescopic rod attached to the accelerator pedal.
Features:
The upper joint of the control lever features a double bearing system to minimize mechanical load during accelerator control.
The springs providing rotational resistance in the upper joint of the control lever have 4 different stiffness levels, adjustable according to user needs.
To optimize braking force, the control lever has 3 different adjustment points for the push rod on the brake pedal.
Within the monolever, the travel distance of the accelerator rod can be adjusted with 3 different setting options to optimize acceleration force.
The rack mechanism is made of closely spaced C40 steel to ensure effective brake locking even with small brake movements.
The specially rounded form of the outer covers allows the knee to slide comfortably over these surfaces during use, preventing continuous micro-traumas to the knee.
A return spring ensures the control lever returns to its zero position. This prevents the lever from putting weight on the brake rod and brake pedal.
All floor-mounted control levers are equipped with a lever release mechanism that allows the lever to be unlocked and folded back over the seat. This feature enables non-disabled individuals to use the vehicle comfortably.
