The HNC Steering Control System offers ergonomic button and grip options that make it easier to control your vehicle with one hand. This system enhances driving safety and control precision, especially when used in conjunction with hand controls. It is an ideal solution for users with limited upper body mobility or weak grip strength.
How It Works
The system consists of two main parts: a clamp fixed to the steering wheel and a button/grip connected to this clamp with a quick-release mechanism. Thanks to the bearing structure in the clamp, the grip rotates freely without requiring the hand to slide, no matter how many times the steering wheel turns. The quick-release mechanism allows for easy switching between different grip types.
Lightened Steering Assistance
For users with mobility limitations, Lightened Power Steering can be applied to make turning the steering wheel easier. This adaptation significantly reduces the force required to turn the steering wheel.
Grip and Button Options
Ergo
Our most popular option. Its oval shape fits comfortably in the hand, is ergonomic, and its low-profile design provides easier access to auxiliary control elements such as indicators, wipers, or cruise control.
Round
Classic spherical design. Available in two sizes: 40 mm and 50 mm. This design is ideal for users who prefer a round button.
Low
Positions the palm closest to the steering wheel, allowing fingers to constantly be in a position to access auxiliary control units.
Standard
This model, which uses the handle of the Carospeed Menox hand control, has the widest gripping area apart from the 2-pin and 3-pin options.
2-Pin (Tetra) and 3-Pin (Para)
These models, also known as “Tetra grip,” allow the steering wheel to be held like a handle by securing the hand within a socket. It is one of the safest options for users with weak grip strength. The socket can be easily shaped to the user’s hand.
