Nothing we would not fit ourselves
We do not recommend equipment we are not confident in. If it is the wrong chassis or the wrong chair, we say so.

The Maya way
Maya Mobility Limited specifies and fits wheelchair accessible vehicles, driving adaptations and home-access equipment. We are a British company, based at Henham near Bishop's Stortford, and we work with people across London and the Home Counties.
Our mission
That means a clear recommendation, a fit that suits the chair and the chassis, and handover in plain English. We are not a rental firm. We specify equipment and conversions.

Henham · near London
The workshop is at Unit 4, Henham Farm Lodge, Church Street, Henham, Bishop's Stortford CM22 6BG. Bishop's Stortford is on the Liverpool Street line, so an appointment from London is a practical journey rather than a day trip.
Come with the vehicle details and, if you can, the chair. We would rather look at the real thing than guess from a photograph.
Equipment
Seating, lifts, hand controls, ramps and home access come from established makers — including BraunAbility, Fadiel, Autoadapt and Otolift. We choose what fits the person and the vehicle, then talk through installation and aftercare.
Quality and safety are the two things we will not trade away to make a quote look lighter.

Where we work
One address. People come to us from across the capital and the Home Counties — drivers, families and the person who usually does the school run.
Why Maya
We do not recommend equipment we are not confident in. If it is the wrong chassis or the wrong chair, we say so.
Securement, transfers and driving controls have to be right. A quicker install is not a better one.
You should leave knowing what was specified, why, and what happens if something needs looking at later.
The commute into London, the boot, the driveway and the stairs at home are one problem, not three catalogues.

Who it is for
London is full of people who are still sharp and busy, and less steady on a step than they were. A swivel seat or a stairlift is often what keeps the same routines.
Partners going out, grandchildren on a Sunday, a clinic on the other side of town. The equipment should disappear into that, not become the day.

Drivers, passengers, families and older people — moving with less dependence on someone else being free.
